School Admissions

You are very welcome to come and visit the school. The Headteacher, Mr Dave Collins, conducts tours around the school on certain days. You need to telephone the school office on 0208 743 3074 to enquire about dates, times and to make an appointment in advance.

You can also visit the nursery and once again please telephone the office for enquiries and appointments.

Admissions for Reception class are dealt with by the Local Authority(London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham). The criteria is:

  • children who have a priority need
  • siblings
  • distance

Children start in Reception in September when they become 5 between 1st September of that year and the 31st August of the following year.

The Local Authority “Starting School” booklet is a complete guide to the process and is available in schools and libraries during the autumn term. It can also be accessed online at lbhf.gov.uk/schooladmissions

The nursery is situated in a separate self-contained building with its own play area. The nursery admits children on a part-time basis (morning or afternoon). A place in our Nursery does not automatically give a place in our Reception.

Children start Nursery after their 3rd birthday. Application forms for nursery places are available from the school office. We make offers of nursery places according to the admissions criteria that are the same as those for community primary schools – as above.

In year admissions, for places other than in Reception, are also dealt with by the Local Authority. Parents who are looking for a school place should contact the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham on 020 8753 2627/3628 or email: school.admissions@lbhf.gov.uk
